Vengurla is a small coastal town of Sindhdurg and was strategic port since ancient times. The port is surrounded by hills on all side.

• Sagartirtha Beach:  22 km from Vengurla, famous for casuarina plantation and white sands.
• Redi Ganapati: As per local belief around about 18 years ago a man named Sadashiv Kambli had a visitation from Lord Ganesh in his dreams, telling him the location of a Ganapati idol. Thus, with the help of local workers he excavated the idol from the sea shore. The idol which was in one single piece is about 6 feet in height and 4 feet in breadth. This 28 km from Vengurla.
• Crawford market: Vengurle Crawford Market is a replica of Mumbai’s famous Crawford Market. There is a vegetable & fish market housed in this structure.
