Situated 6 kms south of Malvan is long stretch of beach with white sands and clear waters, known as Tarkarli. There are lot of resorts of different quality and service level on both sides of the Malvan Tarkarli road which further extends to Devbagh. Singhudurg fort is visible from Tarkarli beach.

Duration of stay: A two day stay is recommended. 

Things to do at Tarkarli:

• Tarkarli beach is a long stretch of beach and good place for a walk along the beach. One has to be careful while taking bath in the sea.
• Boat rides to the Karli river backwaters or into Arabian sea to explore Tsumani island, Bhogve beach, Nivati beach, Tsunami island from boat jetty, opposite Hotel Manali.
• One can see Dolphins jumping out of the sea, just 30 minute boat ride from boat jetty.
• Visit Devbagh sangam where river Karli meet the arabian sea.
• Visit Sindhudurg/Malvan fort -Malvan jetty is 20 minutes journey via road from Tarkarli.Tickets are avalable @ Rs 25/adult.
• Snorkeling or scuba diving is available near Sindhudurg/Malvan Fort through out the year except in monsoons. Tickets and professional guides are available at Malvan jetty @ Rs 250/person.
• Other near by places within 30 minutes drives are Malvan town, Chivla beach, Ozar caves.
• Visit Malvan market and the famous fish market.
